This simple definition can only hope to prevent some of the damage done to monitors, keyboard, the human skin and the feline mind as a result of the writings of certain NANAE regulars. Any and all messages by one of the regulars on the following list are always considered to have an implicit C & C warning attached to then.
By Lumber Cartel Decree #6391 [tinlc] you cannot bill these regulars for replacement keyboards and monitors, bandaging of cat scratches, feline psychotherapy or any other damage directly or indirectly resulting from reading one such message.
In short, if you see one of the following names pop up in the From: field of a message, put down your drink in a safe spot, remove any and all furry felines in a ten feet radius of your chair and make sure you are seated well before proceeding to read the message.
As with the Rules of Spam, this list is maintained by Patricia, not me. Do not contact me for updates, propose them on NANAE instead, preferably in reply to a message by a regular whom you think should have auto-C&C status.
[Update 2006-10-13] After careful consideration, it was decided that Steve Linford, owner of Spamhaus, be added to the list. The normally quite serious Steve made two great attempts at scaring cats and breaking keyboards as he ridiculized spammers and spammer hosts. Note that auto-C&C status does not mean that Steve should no longer be taken seriously.
