The unofficial NANAE Kook Kollektion

Jamie

"Your defamitory remarks will not be tollerated!"

Who is Jamie?
Jamie Baillie is a kook who considers himself the ultimate antispammer. He has, however, a shady past as a DHS Club spammer, as well as some issues with reality. It should be noted that there are other posters on nanae that go by the name Jamie. They have nothing to do with this Jamie.
So what is he raving about?
Jamie is prone to posting long, rambling rants about some real or imagined slight against his person. It may be a spam he received, a HipCrime forgery bearing his name, or whatever. Although these are mostly just normal spams or floods, Jamie seems convinced that they are sent by one of his opponents to harrass him. Jamie's rants usually contain long, irrelevant whois- or traceroute listings and are often sent to uninvolved third parties.
Is Jamie a spammer?
Jamie was at one point revealed to be spamming for the DHS Club. He frantically denies this, blaming «t;Hacker X»t; who took over his system for an unspecified amount of time. Whether or not he spams currently is unknown.

Jamie was also once caught trying to buy a list of anonymizing proxies for emailing.

Is Jamie insane?
There is some evidence that he is indeed a mental case. His style of ranting and raving seems to support this.
How can I recognize a Jamie rant?
To his credit, Jamie usually includes his real name, Jamie Baillie. However, he has been known to use open proxies for posting. Jamie rants usually include long whois- and traceroute listings. He is also known to frequently misspell certain words, including «t;defamitory»t;, «t;tollerated»t; and «t;stollen»t;. These are of course a source of amusement to The NANAE.
Is Jamie dangerous?
Jamie is mostly considered harmless and a source of amusement by The NANAE. However, he has a mean side and is not shy of taking his grieves to his target's provider, employer, or the police. This has created some problems for a few, but most of the time his rants are ineffective.
What's the deal with the photo?
One of his opponents posted Jamie's photo on an anti-jamie site. This has been a sore point to Jamie ever since, and he has tried everything to get both the photo and the entire site removed. However, Jamie's claims to the photo are inconsistent. He has denied that the person on the photo is him, claimed that he owns the copyrights to the photo.
